symbol to indicate they are stamped at Mumbai Mint. The uncirculated coins are also sold at

Theme Description

Pujya Shri Ram Chandra ji of Fatehgarh U.P. was a great saint and spiritual teacher who lived from 1873 to 1931. He is often referred to with great love and devotion as Lalaji. During his lifetime, he was honored and revered by many spiritual and religious groups, and he transcended cultures and spiritual systems, providing a revolutionary way forward into the modern age of spirituality. His scientific approach led him to remodel the system of Yoga for the modern age.

Lalaji revived the ancient yogic art of Transmission or Pranahuti as a method to transform human consciousness, and developed its utilization to new heights as the Adi Guru of Sahaj Marg Raja Yoga. He mentored and prepared his associates as spiritual trainers, most notably his successor, Pujya Shri Ram Chandra ji of Shahjahanpur, who is known to the world as Babuji. Together they brought spirituality into a new era and opened the doors for all who wish to reach the highest goal of human existence within one lifetime.

This Basant, Shri Ram Chandra Mission is celebrating Pujya Lalaji’s 150th birth anniversary at Kanha Shanti Vanam, and this coin is being released by the Government of India to commemorate the auspicious event on February 2, 2023.
